Directions from Bozeman, Montana

Head East on 1-90 toward Livingston, MT for 32.8 miles. Take exit 333 for US-89 South in Livingston, MT. Follow US-89 South for 9.6 miles and take a left at Pine Creek Road. Follow the dirt road for ~1 mile and turn left at the Under Canvas North Yellowstone – Paradise Valley signs. If you reach a parking lot for fishing access on the river you have gone too far… just turn around and come back to the first dirt road that will then be on your right.

Directions from Gardiner, MT

Take US-89 North towards Livingston, MT for 42.9 miles. Turn right onto Pine Creek Road. Follow the dirt road for ~1 mile and turn left at the Under Canvas North Yellowstone – Paradise Valley signs. If you reach the parking a for fishing access on the river you have gone too far… just turn around and come back to the first dirt road that will then be on your right.

It gives park guests close access to Mammoth Hot Springs and is only minutes from the small western town of Gardiner, MT and Lamar Valley with the highest density of wildlife in the national park The West Entrance is found on the western side of the park near the town of West Yellowstone, Montana, not far from the Wyoming border. Once you pass the West Entrance, it is around 14 miles before you reach Madison, a basepoint for the surrounding geyser basins.
