Best Night for Viewing Uranus
Date: 11/17/2024 8:00AM to 8:00AM
Each November, Uranus is “in opposition”—meaning Uranus, Earth, and the sun are all in a straight line, with Earth in the middle. During this time, the giant, icy planet appears brighter, larger, and more visible than usual, making it the perfect time to view from Earth. Before you go to sleep for the night, take the opportunity to gaze through our telescope to discover this frigid, windy planet in the sky.
