National Park Hiking Tour

Length of Trip: 6 hours
Tour Days & Time: Daily, 9:30 AM
Restrictions: Beginner – Minimum 7 Years | Intermediate – Minimum 12 Years | Advanced 16+
Includes: Camp Pick-Up | Lunch

Pick a public tour for all experiences; beginner, intermediate, and advanced options go out each day. From short walks and stops at perfect viewpoints, to challenging yourself to some less traveled trails of Grand Canyon National Park, your trail is waiting for you!

Grand Canyon Jeep Safaris

Safari & Rim Walk Length of Trip: 3 hours, including 90 minutes walking
Tour Days & Time: Daily, 9:30 AM
Restrictions: Youth 7 & under must be in booster or car seat

During the tour you will travel via 4×4 through the Kaibab National Forest before strolling along the rim of the Grand Canyon. Your guide will be sure to entertain you with the fascinating history, geology and local folklore of the region. Look through all types of wildlife from elk and deer to bobcats, turkeys and hawks. Next, we will enter historic Grand Canyon Village where we will park and start our walking tour.

Sunset Jeep Tour Length of Trip: 3 hours
Tour Days & Time: Daily, 2 hours before sunset
Restrictions: Youth 7 & under must be in booster or car seat

Venture down old stagecoach trails through Kaibab National Forest. During this trip, there are massive amounts of wildlife present from deer to elk to turkey and more. Sunset hour at the Grand Canyon is magical so get ready to view the amazing vistas and unique geological formations while spending quality time with your friends and family.

 

Biking Tours

Hermit Road Tour

Length of Trip: 3 hours | 5.5 Miles
Tour Days & Time: Daily, Morning & Afternoon
Restrictions: Park Fees not included | Minimum 2 Years
Includes: 26”, 24”, or 20” bike

Being the most popular biking trip at the Grand Canyon, Hermit Road takes guests along a portion of the Grand Canyon South Rim that is closed to public vehicle traffic. This mostly flat ride is perfect for all types of groups and covers some of the greatest terrain in the West. Learn natural and human history along the way and get ready for some epic views!

Yaki Point Tour

Length of Trip: 5.8 Miles
Tour Days & Time: Daily, 9:00 AM
Restrictions: Park Fees not included | Minimum 2 Years
Includes: 26”, 24”, or 20” bike

This tour provides guests with outrageously close views of the Grand Canyon to where guests are only feet from the Grand Canyon’s edge. Bike along these beautifully paved paths all the way to Yaki Point Lookout. During this journey, experience the sights and sounds of the Grand Canyon and be a part of something unique and special to this area. *Burley Trailers or Tagalongs can be done in place of children’s bikes.

For adventures such as horseback riding, jeep safaris and bike tours where space is limited, we recommend inquiring about reservations well in advance of your stay. Those who would like to book adventures prior to arrival may do so through our Adventures team up to seven days before check-in.

Book Your Adventure At Camp

Required for those within 7 days of arrival

If you are within seven days of your arrival date, we will happily assist in booking your adventure when you check-in at Under Canvas Grand Canyon. Simply visit our on-site Guest Experience Coordinator at reception upon your arrival to plan your desert adventure.

 


Any reservations coordinated by Under Canvas Inc. are operated by independent third-party vendors and not by Under Canvas Inc. or any of its affiliates, and Under Canvas Inc. acts only as a booking agent for such vendors. Rates, inclusions, and exclusions are subject to change at any time until the activity has been paid in full. All members and guests participating in the activities may have to agree to separate operator terms and conditions and may be required to sign a release of liability, waiver, assumption of risk, or other similar form prior to participation.

Adventures Cancellation Policy: If you are to cancel within 30 days of your reservation, you will not receive a refund. If you are to cancel prior to the 30-day window, you will receive a 95% refund. In the event of unsafe weather or other dangerous conditions, your guide may choose to cancel a trip. Guide canceled trips receive a full refund. Rainfall or a forecast of rain does not necessarily require a trip to be canceled.
