I have enjoyed working at Under Canvas – Lake Powell, because the location is absolutely stunning and my colleagues are driven, kind, and provide authentic customer service!
Why would you recommend working at Under Canvas to someone? I would recommend working at Under Canvas because there are so many opportunities for career growth and travel!
What would be the best bit of advice they would give to someone considering working at UC? Take time to explore the area! Big Water is the very center of the grand Circle, which has the highest concentration of National Parks in the country. Get out and experience the beauty of this area!
What is your most memorable experience working with a guest or a coworker?
The most memorable part of the season has been attending employee enrichment events and being able to bond with the staff and celebrate each other’s accomplishments and successes over food, raffles, and music.
What is your favorite part of your day?
My favorite part of my day is evening time, especially when we have a live musician and the weather is perfect. The magic of camp happens at night when all guests gather together on the patio and enjoy the atmosphere and gorgeous views.
