Opening A New Solar-Powered Location
Introducing our new solar-powered location 15 minutes from Bryce Canyon National Park. Under Canvas Bryce Canyon will open June 2, 2022 as the fifth Utah location along the famed Grand Circle road trip route. Welcoming guests on 750 acres of beautiful and secluded high mountain plans and in-line with our other stunning properties, all accomodations at the property will feature ensuite bathrooms with hot running water, king-size beds with luxe linens, wood-burning stoves, private decks, outdoor social lounges, and more.
Localized and Lifestyle-Focused Culinary Offerings
Under Canvas is continuing to elevate the guest experience across all locations with localized culinary offerings that bring you closer to the destination. Enjoy our exclusive partnership with Bluestone Lane coffee which will include on-site premium espresso drinks served by baristas along with milk alternatives and complimentary drip coffee in the main lobby tents. After a day of adventures, kick-back and relax with refreshed, destination-inspired menus featuring Under Canvas classics, in addition to local and sustainable offerings, as well as craft beer from the home state of each location. We also are expanding our non-alcoholic and health conscious offerings across Grab N Go like Rowdy Mermaid kombucha, Proud Source water bottles and other ready-to-drink offerings available 24/7.
Enjoy our unique culinary offerings as they are expanded across multiple camps. New to Under Canvas Glacier, Embers Café will offer made-to-order parfaits, sandwiches, wraps, salads, coffees and more in the mornings to fuel your daily adventures or take with you on the road. Under Canvas Grand Canyon will feature an updated Embers food-service counter with all new West Elm furnished dining areas inside and out, plus an outdoor bar serving beer, wine, liquor, and canned cocktails. Enjoy expanded offerings at Under Canvas Yellowstone including a converted horse-trailer bar offering canned beer and wine. Under Canvas Great Smoky Mountains will have refreshed outdoor lounge areas and an elevated outdoor bar offering wine, beer and cocktails to be enjoyed in the most spectacular outdoor settings.
Refreshed Tents and Social Spaces
Under Canvas is investing in thoughtful upgrades across all locations, including tent upgrades, yoga and viewing decks, and more, as well as family-focused two-tent suites at Under Canvas Zion—helping you get outside in comfort and style while maximizing the outdoor experience.
At Under Canvas Zion, expect to see four new Angels Landing Suites, featuring two tents adjoined by a private deck, with its own private firepit and outdoor area for the ultimate family experience. In addition, this location will showcase optimizations on solar energy efficiency and new generation tent upgrades across the camp. Under Canvas Mount Rushmore will uncover reimagined outdoor social spaces with incredible views of Mount Rushmore National Memorial, including a refreshed viewing deck. In addition, guests can enjoy tent upgrades across our Moab, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Glacier and Great Smoky Mountains locations including ensuite bathroom upgrades using our newest generation, contemporary design with elevated barn-doors and polished concrete features. Under Canvas Yellowstone will introduce a secondary two-tent lobby with a largely expanded outdoor amenity space geared towards kids programming (think movie nights, game nights etc.); but also available for groups and private events. Check out the upgraded lobby tent and communal space at Under Canvas Grand Canyon, featuring a refreshed outdoor space with shaded areas for enjoying dining in the great outdoors. Under Canvas Great Smoky Mountains will also showcase a refreshed social space with a new terraced outdoor lounge area including two new fire pits with adirondack chairs for s’mores, along with an updated game space featuring corn-hole and bocce. Explore the brand-new gaming area for outdoor activities and grilling alongside furnishing upgrades at Under Canvas Moab and the new yoga and events deck at Under Canvas Lake Powell – Grand Staircase, perfect for your sunrise yoga sesh.
Continued access to wellness amenities like lululemon mats and blocks are available for use during complimentary yoga programming and at your leisure, alongside the introduction of Black Diamond hiking poles for ultimate exploration around nearby national parks and monuments.
