At Under Canvas, we believe wholesome and nutritious food fuels adventure, fosters community and enhances your overall experience at camp. Designed to bring people together in the outdoors, our food and beverage program offers ever-changing menus that embraces both seasonality and locally sourced produce. From social beverage hours in the main lobby and fireside s’mores to camp cook outs and intimate dinners, we cherish moments ripe with flavor and enjoyed in good company. 7-10AM — Breakfast
Rise and shine! A la carte breakfast is served daily in the main lobby dining area of all camps but Under Canvas Glacier and Under Canvas Moab. From classic American hash to french toast and bagels with lox, our array of breakfast items will leave you feeling satisfied and ready for your day’s adventures. Grab some fresh juice to go with your meal and pour yourself some tea or coffee to kickstart your day from our bottomless drink station—available 24/7!
All Day — Grab N Go
If you’re looking to eat on the move, we also offer cold Grab N Go items for purchase from the lobby marketplace of all our locations! Browse our refrigerators for a selection of wholesome breakfast items, healthy sandwiches, fresh salads, tasty wraps, a variety of drinks and more. Stop in at any time to pick up your quick bite or simply grab a light snack like some trail mix or a granola bar to hold you over until dinner.
5-9PM — Dinner & Drinks
Café-style dinner is offered daily in the main lobby dining area (available at all camps but Glacier and Moab). Pro tip: reservations are not required! Come when you’re hungry, order up, and wait for your food to come to you! Options range from small bites and fresh salads to locally sourced items, kid-friendly nosh, and sweet treats for dessert—with each camp offering its own selection of regional specialities showcasing the highest quality, locally sourced ingredients from bison at Under Canvas Yellowstone to fresh and sustainably sourced trout at Under Canvas Rushmore. At Under Canvas Acadia, you can enjoy an extra special selection of local seafood options for dinner each evening. From delicious lobster to clams and more, enjoy your fresh catch with a side of coastline views!
You can also order wine, craft beer, or a specialty cocktail (available at limited locations) before, during, or after dinner and soak up the spectacular views from our indoor and outdoor dining areas!
At both Under Canvas Moab and Under Canvas Glacier where café-style dinner is not available, complimentary communal grills are onsite and open for guests to grill out on a first-come, first-served basis. To make things easier, you can purchase one of our grill packages which include your choice of steak, chicken, hot dogs, burgers, or veggies burgers with chips, salad, and a dessert!
All Evening — S’mores
A stay at Under Canvas is never complete without fireside s’mores. Guests can grab all the fixings from any one of our main lobby tents, on us! Pick up your complimentary graham crackers, marshmallows, chocolate, and roasting sticks and head outside to our communal fire pits to enjoy games, good company, and the evening’s camp programming.
Don’t forget—as stewards of the land we operate upon, we continue to put our best foot forward with minimum impact practices and a commitment to “Leave No Trace”. We ask for your partnership in making this mission possible by placing your dining wares, food waste and recyclables in the receptacles indicated around camp, and that you leave nothing but footprints when venturing in the outdoors!
