Take NH-135 North for about 10 miles. Turn right onto Blakelee Road. Follow Blakelee Rd. left for a half mile. Turn right onto Blakslee Road and continue for another half mile. On the right you will find signs for Under Canvas White Mountains.
Directions from Boston, MA
Take I-93 North for about 155 miles, passing into New Hampshire and continuing toward Littleton, NH. Take exit 43 for NH-135 toward NH-18/Littleton/Dalton.
Turn left onto NH-135 North and continue for 10 miles. Then turn right toward Blakelee Road, which becomes Blakslee Road. Follow Blakslee Road for about 1 mile. On the right you will find signs for Under Canvas White Mountains.

Take I-95 North toward Connecticut. Stay on I-95 North, then merge onto I-91 North through Hartford, CT.From I-91, take exit 18 toward US-5, then follow local roads through Barnet, VT and into New Hampshire.
Merge onto I-93 South, then take exit 43 for NH-135 toward Littleton/Dalton. Turn left onto NH-135 North and continue for about 10 miles. Then turn right toward Blakelee Road, which becomes Blakslee Road. Follow Blakslee Road for about 1 mile. On the right you will find signs for Under Canvas White Mountains.
Yes, the Appalachian Trail does go through the White Mountain National Forest. This part of the trek is home to the trail’s most formidable terrain and famous views with the summit of Mt. Washington along this route. Under Canvas White Mountains is about 40 minutes from the Webster Cliff Trailhead & Appalachian Trail Trailhead and 45 minutes from the Liberty Springs Trailhead.
Kancamagus Scenic Byway is a 34.5-mile scenic drive in Northern New Hampshire known for its brilliant colors and rich history. It can be accessed via Lincoln, just 45 minutes away from Under Canvas White Mountains.
While the White Mountains are known for their fall foliage in September and October, May through August brings warmer temperatures and clearer skies for epic alpine hikes, local swimming holes, and the mildest season to explore all the White Mountains have to offer.
Yes! We charge a non-refundable pet fee of $35 fee per pet, per night. This fee includes an Under Canvas bandana for your pet. Pets are not to be left unattended at any time. If you are planning any adventure, please verify that pets are allowed before booking. *We allow dogs only.
Under Canvas White Mountains is just a 20-minute drive from Littleton, NH. Simply take NH-135 North for about 10 miles, turn right onto Blakelee Road, which becomes Blakslee Road, and follow signs to our location.
