Smoky Mountains: Lyrid Meteor Shower

From April 21st-22nd The Lyrid Meteor shower will occur. Tt is one of the oldest recorded meteor showers with 10-20 meteors per hour best viewed after midnight. To kick it off we will have a “wish upon a star” jar for you to write a note and toss in a fire pit with the embers making its way up to the stars. We will have a special bar set out like Milky way smores bar or hot chocolate, set out blankets and chairs for viewing and have some information to share on this celestial event.
