1. Sponsors

This Sweepstakes is sponsored jointly by Under Canvas, Inc., 211 Yukon Ln Bldg 3, Belgrade, MT 59714 (“Under Canvas”) and Backcountry.com, LLC, 2855 East Cottonwood Parkway, Fifth Floor, Cottonwood Heights UT 84121 (“Backcountry”). Under Canvas and Backcountry are referred to together as the “Sponsors.” Under Canvas administers this Sweepstakes, including the winner drawing and notification.

2. Eligibility

This Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date of entry.

Employees, officers, and directors of the Sponsors and of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, and any other companies involved in the development or administration of this Sweepstakes, and the immediate family members of and persons living in the same household as any such individual, are not eligible to enter or win. “Immediate family members” means parents, stepparents, children, stepchildren, siblings, stepsiblings, and spouses.

This Sweepstakes is void in Puerto Rico, all other U.S. territories and possessions, and anywhere else prohibited or restricted by law. All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

3. Sweepstakes Period

The Sweepstakes begins on August 25, 2026 at 12:00:00 AM Mountain Time and ends on September 8, 2026 at 11:59:59 PM Mountain Time (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Entries submitted before or after the Sweepstakes Period will not be eligible. Under Canvas’s computer is the official time-keeping device for this Sweepstakes.

4. How to Enter

To enter, visit www.undercanvas.com/backcountry-giveaway during the Sweepstakes Period, complete all required fields on the entry form, and submit the form.

Entry requires you to subscribe to marketing communications from the Sponsors. Subscribing is a condition of entry. You may unsubscribe at any time after entering using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, and unsubscribing after you have entered will not affect your entry or your chance of winning.

Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address for the entire Sweepstakes Period. Entrants who submit more than one entry will be disqualified.

All entries become the sole property of the Sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned. Proof of submission does not constitute proof of receipt. The Sponsors are not responsible for entries that are lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, garbled, or not received for any reason.

Entries generated by script, macro, bot, or any other automated means, and entries submitted through any sweepstakes-entry service, subscription service, or agent acting on an entrant’s behalf, are void and will be disqualified.

5. Winner Selection and Notification

One (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The drawing will be conducted by Under Canvas on or about September 10, 2026. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The decisions of Under Canvas are final and binding on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.

The potential winner will be notified by email at the address provided at the time of entry. The potential winner must respond to the notification and claim the prize within seventy-two (72) hours of the time the notification is sent. If the potential winner does not respond within that period, cannot be contacted, is found to be ineligible, declines the prize, or fails to comply with these Official Rules, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected at random from among the remaining eligible entries, time permitting. The Sponsors are not responsible for email notifications that are undeliverable, filtered as spam, or otherwise not received.

6. Prize

One (1) grand prize will be awarded, consisting of:

A. Accommodation. A two (2) consecutive-night stay for two (2) adults in a Deluxe tent at one (1) Under Canvas camp selected by the winner, with an approximate retail value of up to $900. The accommodation portion of the prize covers tent accommodation and applicable taxes and resort fees only. Food, beverages, guided adventures, retail purchases, gratuities, pet fees, transportation to and from the camp, and all other costs and expenses are the sole responsibility of the winner.

The stay is subject to availability at the time of booking and blackout dates may apply. The reservation must be booked directly with Under Canvas and the stay must be completed on or before September 8, 2027. The accommodation prize is valid at Under Canvas camps only and is not valid at ULUM Moab, The Fields of Michigan, or Bar N Ranch. No cash or credit will be issued for any unused portion of the accommodation prize.

B. Gift card. One (1) Backcountry gift card in the amount of $1,000, subject to Backcountry’s gift card terms and conditions.

C. Apparel. One (1) Backcountry Sunhoodie. Size and color subject to availability. Approximate retail value: $69.

D. Gear. One (1) Backcountry Duffel. Size and color subject to availability. Approximate retail value: $139.

Total approximate retail value (ARV) of the grand prize: $2,108. The actual value of the accommodation portion will vary depending on the camp, tent, and dates selected by the winner, and the difference between the stated ARV and the actual value will not be awarded.

The prize is awarded “as is” and without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The prize is non-transferable and non-assignable, and no substitution, exchange, or cash equivalent will be permitted, except that the Sponsors reserve the right in their sole discretion to substitute a prize element of equal or greater value if the advertised element becomes unavailable. The prize may not be combined with any other offer, discount, or promotion. All elements of the prize must be accepted as awarded.

7. Taxes

All federal, state, and local taxes on the prize, and any other costs and expenses associated with acceptance and use of the prize not expressly stated as being provided, are the sole responsibility of the winner. The winner will be required to complete and return an IRS Form W-9 before the prize is awarded and will be issued an IRS Form 1099-MISC reflecting the fair market value of the prize.

8. Winner Requirements

The potential winner may be required to complete, sign, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and, except where prohibited by law, a Publicity Release within seven (7) days of the date the documents are sent. Failure to return the executed documents within that period may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner.

Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the prize constitutes the winner’s consent to the use of their name, city and state of residence, photograph, voice, statements, and likeness by the Sponsors for advertising, promotional, and publicity purposes in any medium worldwide, in perpetuity, without further notice, compensation, or approval.

9. Privacy

Information submitted with an entry is collected by the Sponsors and used to administer this Sweepstakes and to send marketing communications. By entering, you acknowledge and agree that your entry information will be shared between Under Canvas and Backcountry for these purposes, and that each may contact you independently. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.

Information collected is handled in accordance with the Under Canvas Privacy Policy, available at www.undercanvas.com/privacy-policy, and the Backcountry Privacy Policy, available at www.backcountry.com/privacy-policy.

10. General Conditions

By entering, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Under Canvas, which are final and binding in all respects.

The Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, terminate, or modify this Sweepstakes or any part of it if fraud, technical failure, human error, or any other cause beyond the Sponsors’ reasonable control corrupts or impairs the integrity, security, or proper administration of the Sweepstakes. In such event, the Sponsors may select the winner in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the event giving rise to the cancellation, suspension, termination, or modification.

The Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, acting in violation of these Official Rules, or acting in a disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of this Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and the Sponsors reserve the right to seek damages and other remedies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

The Sponsors are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing, offering, or administration of this Sweepstakes, or in the announcement of the prize.

11. Release and Limitation of Liability

By entering, each entrant releases and agrees to hold harmless the Sponsors and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses of any kind arising out of or in connection with participation in this Sweepstakes or the acceptance, receipt, possession, use, or misuse of the prize, including without limitation personal injury, death, and property damage.

Without limiting the foregoing, everything relating to the prize is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. In no event will the Sponsors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind.

12. Disputes and Governing Law

Except where prohibited by law, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and the Sponsors in connection with this Sweepstakes, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.

Except where prohibited by law, each entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or the prize will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Gallatin County, Montana; (b) any and all claims, judgments, and awards will be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, excluding attorneys’ fees; and (c) under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain any award for, and each entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages and any other damages other than actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to all entrants.
